On December 4th, at the National Military Circle in Bucharest, Energynomics invites you to the 13th edition of the Energynomics Awards for the Romanian energy industry! The flagship event of Energynomics will reunite, top of the high representatives of the most important and most dynamic companies in the Romanian energy industry, and also central government and diplomatic officials, to celebrate performance, resilience, and ingenuity in the Romanian energy industry!

THE COST OF A TICKET is 400 euros + VAT

The 13th edition of the Gala Awards organized by Energynomics will register the changes and progress after the rush in the business and in the administration, to open the holiday season, and start drafting the plans for 2026! Once again, we will point to the performers of the year. All the sectors – electricity, O&G, renewable, thermo, and mining, and all the themes – energy efficiency, smart energy, energy storage, M&A, and investments, will be revealed in the right light and in cold balance.

CONCEPT Stronger than ever

Romania’s energy sector is stepping into its strongest positioning in decades. Against all adversities – from volatile markets and geopolitical shocks to domestic delays and social anxieties – the quiet perseverance of government, regulators, companies, and communities is reshaping the industry into one of resilience, relevance, and readiness for the future.

The 2025 Energynomics Gala Awards celebrates not only breakthroughs, but also the constancy and determination of thousands of professionals who have carried projects from vision to reality. This year’s concept – “Stronger than ever” – honors the conviction that Romania’s energy transition is no longer an ambition, but a lived process producing visible results.

Over the past year, progress has reached every corner of the sector. Renewables are moving from paper to ground, with solar and wind capacities scaling up and batteries entering operation. Gas continues to secure Romania’s regional role, while grid operators and digital innovators push efficiency and flexibility. From oil and gas majors reinventing themselves to start-ups testing hydrogen and new mobility, and to the new future of nuclear, the sector is more diverse and adaptive than ever.

This momentum is no accident. It reflects years of regulatory alignment, strategic planning, and Romania’s credibility as an EU and OECD partner. Investors now see proof: megawatts installed, gigawatt-hours stored, connections reinforced. Supply chains are forming, partnerships multiplying, and the promise of an integrated energy ecosystem is closer than ever.

Challenges remain in public engagement, institutional performance, and ensuring benefits are shared across society. But the lesson of resilience is clear: by staying the course through cycles of uncertainty, Romania’s energy sector shows that the transformation is irreversible – and it is stronger than ever.
