After a year 2024 marked by remarkable results, Enexus is positioning itself as a regional player with solid ambitions in the renewable energy sector. The company, which specialises in integrated EPC services for large-scale photovoltaic projects, reports a turnover of around €23 million, a tenfold increase on the previous year, reflecting both the accelerated pace of the market and the efficiency of its business model.

The driving force behind this performance was the EPC division, responsible for around 90% of the company’s revenues, through the execution of five completed projects and seven more in various stages of development, totalling over 250 MW installed in Romania. Enexus thus continues to play a pivotal role in transforming the local energy landscape, supporting a diversified base of international investors and regional industrial clients in their transition to renewables.

“Our model allows us to move faster, deliver stronger, more efficiently than many players in the region, and stay aligned with market opportunities as they emerge,” says Mesut Güler, CEO of Enexus. Beyond on-time delivery, the company differentiates its offering with a comprehensive package of services – from analysis and financing to operation and maintenance – designed to maximise the long-term profitability of each project.

Enexus is aimed at both investors with portfolios already active in photovoltaics and industrial consumers seeking energy independence, without excluding financial investors attracted by the sector’s stable returns. “What we’ve learned from working with both entrepreneurial and industrial clients is this: they all want clarity, speed, and partners they can trust. Whether they’re scaling up or entering new markets, our role is to simplify the process, accelerate their return on investment, and make sure every project is scalable and bankable,” emphasises Iulia Meiroșu, CFO Enexus.

Looking ahead to 2025, the company aims to surpass the 600 MW installed capacity threshold, with a strategy focussed on expanding operations in the Black Sea region, integrating storage solutions into all major projects and attracting new categories of investors. At the same time, Enexus intends to grow its team strategically, maintaining the operational agility that has underpinned its rapid growth to date.

“Enexus is a trusted gateway for renewable energy investors looking to enter Romania and the Black Sea region — offering fast-track execution, local insight, and commitment to long-term asset performance,” says Alina Stefan, Chief Commercial Officer.

In a sector marked by transition and intense competition, Enexus is betting on speed, flexibility and sustainable partnerships to support the development of green energy in Romania and in the emerging markets of the Black Sea region. With a pipeline of more than 350 MW and a team determined to deliver quality at international standards, the company remains a solid reference for investors looking for predictability and performance in a transforming industry.
