ENEVO Group, the largest Romanian EPC contractor for renewable energy projects, marks the beginning of 2026 by starting the Ogrezeni 761 MWp / 534 MWac photovoltaic project, one of the largest hybrid renewable energy projects in Europe. This project represents a defining moment in the company’s evolution, positioning it as a relevant regional actor in the energy transition.

The size, administrative complexity, technical outline that includes the photovoltaic plant and the 400 kV grid connection station highlight ENEVO Group’s capabilities to design, build and commission large-scale energy infrastructure projects, in accordance with the highest standards of quality, operational safety and performance.

“Ogrezeni is a benchmark utility-scale project for the Romanian energy sector, with a major impact on the national objectives of energy security and transition to green energy. Moreover, by selecting a national contractor, the project maximizes the local component, demonstrating that there is Romanian expertise that can deliver projects of such complexity and size,” said Cristian Pîrvulescu, CEO and co-founder of ENEVO Group.

Solid track record: benchmark projects delivered

ENEVO Group’s capacity to deliver relevant projects is supported by a solid portfolio developed in recent years, covering renewable energy production, grid infrastructure and energy storage solutions.

In 2025, ENEVO Group completed and put into operation several strategic projects, including CEF Chișineu-Criș (54.11 MWp, the first project in Romania to use panels with back-contact technology), CEF Teiuș (70 MW, the largest energy project financed by PNRR, with agrovoltaic trackers), CEF Giurgiu (50 MW, a sustainable reconversion project of an industrial site), as well as CEF Satu Mare (27 MWp), CEF Gogoșu (41.94 MWp) and CEF Titu (54.23 MWp).

    Relevant pipeline: ongoing projects

Currently, ENEVO Group is building a cumulative portfolio of over 1.5 GW in renewable energy projects, more than 1 GWh in energy storage solutions and ten 110 kV, 220 kV and 400 kV high-voltage substations, consolidating its place at the forefront of the energy transition in Central and Eastern Europe.

The projects under execution support ENEVO Group’s growth strategy in renewable energy and energy storage. These include CEF Helios (85 MW, the largest photovoltaic park with an East–West location), CEF Mihăilești (87.5 MWp) and CEF Mărunței Vest (60.8 MWp), integrated with a BESS system of approximately 100 MWh.

ENEVO Group is also developing important energy storage projects such as Crucea Nord (72 MWh), located within the wind farm owned by Hidroelectrica, Doicești (15 MWh), but also Alpha Wind Nord (76 MWh) and Fântânele (72 MWh), with completion dates in 2026.

In addition, ENEVO Group is expanding its dispatching capabilities, aiming to monitor and operate, through its own DLC ENEVO OmniSOC dispatcher, a portfolio of up to 1 GW by the end of the year, while integrating advanced cybersecurity capabilities for the protection of critical infrastructures, SCADA systems and operational data flows.

Starting with 2026, the companies in the ENEVO group will have over 500 specialists, organized in a multidisciplinary structure capable of delivering end-to-end EPC projects, from engineering and procurement to construction, commissioning and operation.

With an annual turnover growth rate of 100% in the period 2020–2025 and an estimated turnover for the current year of over 350 million euros, ENEVO Group is a mature, bankable and scalable player, preferred by investors and investment funds.

“These milestones are not just numbers, but the result of a long-term vision, constant investments in people, technology and processes, as well as the trust of our partners. ENEVO Group is ready to play a major role in international markets”, said Radu Brașoveanu, CTO and co-founder of ENEVO Group.

International expansion: Europe and the Middle East

In parallel with the accelerated development in Romania, ENEVO Group continues its internationalization strategy, by expanding operations in Spain and Germany, as well as consolidating its presence in Saudi Arabia and developing activities in Egypt. The opening of operational offices and the formation of local teams strengthen the company’s positioning in strategic markets and facilitate access to large-scale projects, in diverse energy contexts and with different regulatory requirements.
