Enery inaugurated the Titu Photovoltaic Park, a 54 MW photovoltaic power plant located in Dâmbovița County.
The project represents the first photovoltaic power plant in Romania developed, built and operated entirely by Enery and constitutes an important step in the company’s long-term growth strategy in the local market.
With an estimated annual production of approximately 80 GWh of electricity from renewable sources, the Titu Photovoltaic Park will contribute to strengthening Romania’s clean energy production capacity, increasing energy security and accelerating the country’s transition to a more sustainable energy system.
The project also highlights the increasingly important role of renewable energy in supporting the decarbonization of industry. Through the long-term partnership between Enery and Nokian Tyres, part of the electricity produced by renewable projects in Enery’s portfolio in Romania contributes to powering the world’s first industrial-scale, net-zero CO2 tire factory in Oradea.
Beyond energy production, Enery has also invested in initiatives dedicated to local communities in the Titu-Potlogi area, including the installation of photovoltaic systems for educational and social institutions, the implementation of educational programs and the conduct of biodiversity monitoring activities.
The Titu Photovoltaic Park has an installed capacity of 54.28 MWp in direct current (DC) and 42.60 MWac in alternating current (AC). The facility includes over 88,000 photovoltaic modules equipped with single-axis tracking systems, designed to maximize energy production and operational efficiency.
Enery is an independent power producer, dedicated to providing its customers with reliable, affordable and sustainable long-term green energy solutions. The company operates a diversified portfolio of projects under construction and in operation, with a total capacity of 2 GW. With a portfolio of projects under development of almost 10 GW in ten countries in Central and Eastern Europe, Enery plays an important role in accelerating the energy transition in the region.
