The cash payment of the Enel electricity invoices is no longer available at the Poşta Română offices, the company said.

As of September 20th, the cash collection agreements between Enel Energie, Enel Energie Muntenia and Poşta Română for the cash payment of the Enel invoices will be closed as a result of a unilateral decision by the Poşta Română to not extend the existing contract.

In order to pay their electricity invoice, the customers of Enel Energie and Enel Energie Muntenia, are provided with numerous alternative channels of payment, for free, as well as the payment in cash through the multiple banking partners, ATMs and an extensive network of payment terminals (like Pay Point, Payzone etc); through direct debit, online payment or wire transfer. In addition, customers can pay their invoice from the MyEnel account or the mobile phone application.

“In the coming period we will continue discussions with Poşta Română to establish a convenient alternative payment method for our customers,” said Enel officials.
