Day of Good Association launches the March project, “Ferentari Studios”. The project is dedicated to children from the Ferentari neighborhood of the Capital, often confronted with the realities of a hard life. Under the coordination of the professional actor Ionuț Oprea, over 30 children will be able to practice their artistic skills in a studio equipped with all the necessary equipment for the movies and stories that the children have to tell.

“Every moment that these disadvantaged children from Ferentari spend in the studio, at rehearsals and filming, is a moment further away from the street and its dangers. Every moment of playing and learning in a friendly and encouraging environment means an extra chance to keep your head up and take a step towards a better life. We set out to be with them now, at the beginning and, why not, to applaud them one day, when they will go on the stages of the theater festivals they deserve to reach,” said Melania Medeleanu and Luciana Zaharia, the founders of the Day of Good Association.

The amount needed for the entire project is of 35,000 euro, money that will be used to renovate and equip the studio, but also to cover the costs necessary for its operation until the end of the year.

The March project is supported by the strategic partners of the Day of Good Association: E.ON Romania Group, Lidl Romania and UniCredit Bank.

The aim of the campaign is to support thousands of people in vulnerable situations and to create notoriety around less discussed causes.
