“Stație de Energie” on eon.ro is becoming one of the most popular sources of education and information in Romania regarding the energy market, being accessed last year by over 530,000 visitors, twice as many as in 2024. Thus, in the two years since the launch of the E.ON platform, the number of visitors is approaching one million.
How to become a prosumer, why it is important to install photovoltaic panels with specialists, how to choose the most suitable product for you from a supplier’s portfolio to reduce your bills or what benefits you have if you opt for heat pumps are just some of the current topics that can be accessed on Stație de energie.
The platform brings together practical written articles and guides, easy to understand, as well as a video podcast, on topics of general interest to every energy consumer: from how to calculate consumption, the causes of cost increases in winter, to solutions for more energy-efficient homes.
“The platform aims to be an education “hub”, but also real support for customers, through guides that help them better manage their energy and budget. I think we have already achieved our objectives, but we are not stopping here. We will continue to develop new topics of interest for those who want to optimize their consumption, especially since the energy market, but also the international context, are constantly changing”, says Claudia Griech, general manager of E.ON Energie Romania.
Growing interest in energy solutions
Over the past year, there has been an increase in interest in useful content, with the most read articles being those relating to the method of invoicing natural gas in kWh or the consequences of not paying bills on time.
Energy solutions are among the most sought after by visitors to the “Energy Station” platform, especially heat pumps, a lesser-known and used solution in our country, which involves a more expensive investment, but effective in the long term. The guide to the liberalization of the energy market is also among the most read articles.
The E.ON Talks podcast has exceeded 136,000 hours of viewing
Last year, E.ON returned with the second season of the E.ON Talks podcast, in which invited specialists discuss topics of public interest in detail: from prices and consumption, to the safety of installations or energy efficiency in homes. This season, the video content has accumulated over 136,000 hours of viewing, a relevant indicator of the real time spent by the public with these materials.
E.ON aims to strengthen the “Energy Station” as an information landmark for the public, with a theme based on the experience gained in the relationship with customers, so that the platform is the natural answer to the questions of any household energy consumer in Romania, in a simple, accessible format, with solutions that can be easily applied.
