Delgaz Grid plans to invest over 1 billion euros in the electricity network by 2030, said the company’s CEO, Cristian Secoșan, in a post on LinkedIn.
“At Delgaz Grid, we plan to invest over 1 billion euros in the electricity network by 2030, of which 30% European funds. Moldova has a huge potential for development, in green energy, industry and infrastructure, but the success of projects depends on a solid energy infrastructure.
The other day, I participated in the first meeting of the AHK Romania business community this year, where we talked about the “Power Up Moldova” concept, through which we aim to support the development of the region through investments in distribution networks.
Thank you, AHK Romania, for this platform for dialogue between the Romanian-German business environment”, said Cristian Secoșan.
He also said, during the AHK meeting frequented by Energynomics, that investors primarily need stability and legislative predictability. At the same time, investments made with the help of European funds are extremely important, as they lead to the relaxation of market tariffs. Therefore, it is essential that the state releases the tranches of European funds to investors as quickly as possible – a process that has been dragging on recently.
