Delgaz Grid completes the modernization of three transformation stations in Iași

Delgaz Grid, a member company of the E.ON Romania Group, finalizes an investment project financed from European funds, through which the Gorban, Pașcani and Hîrlău transformation stations were modernized and integrated in SCADA (Monitoring, Control and Data Acquisition).

The project was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through POIM 2014-2020, Priority Axis 6: Promoting clean energy and energy efficiency in order to support a low carbon economy, Specific objective 6.1: Increasing energy production from resources less exploitable renewables (biomass, biogas, geothermal), production.

The total value of the project is of 16.8 million lei, of which the eligible value is of 12.8 million lei (respectively 10 million lei from the ERDF, 1.76 million lei from the National Budget and 1.02 million lei co-financing), being implemented between 18.12.2017 – 31.05.2021.

In the context of the energy transition, energy networks need to become increasingly smart in order to integrate as much energy from renewable sources as possible. Basically, electricity networks are the backbone of the transition to green energy.

At this moment, six projects, worth about 205 million lei, with a co-financing of 128 million lei, are in different stages of implementation.
