Dedeman, a company founded by the brothers Dragoș and Adrian Pavăl, announces that it is installing photovoltaic power plants on the roofs of 28 stores in the network, the value of the investment exceeding 4 million euro.

The electricity produced through them will be intended exclusively for self-consumption, and the period of use will be at least 25 years, according to Forbes.

The total installed power in the 28 locations will be over 7 MWp and will provide approximately 30% of the annual electricity consumption needed to carry out the activity of the stores.

”Solar energy is a source of clean and inexhaustible energy and we must learn to use it as accurately and as much as possible. Nature has always provided us with the means and conditions necessary for a good life. Now more than ever, we must reward it in our turn through care and permanent efforts oriented towards a sustainable development,” said Dragoș Pavăl, the president of Dedeman.
