The Competition Council is analyzing the transaction through which Econergy International Limited intends to take over other 50 percent of Heliolux, the authority announced.

Currently, Heliolux S.R.L. is owned by Infragreen 4 Sigma and Econergy International Limited. Through this transaction, Econergy International Limited takes over Heliolux S.R.L. in full by purchasing the 50% stake from Infragreen 4 Sigma.

Econergy International Limited, France, operates in the renewable energy sector, developing projects in several European countries, including Romania. The company currently has 447 MW connected and operational, with another 559 MW under construction and 788 MW ready for connection (including storage components). Other projects are due to start construction by the end of the year. Econergy owns, together with Nofar Energy, the largest photovoltaic park completed to date in Romania, in Rătești, Argeș County, with a capacity of 155 MW.

Heliolux S.R.L. is active in the field of production and sale of electricity from renewable sources.
