Electricity and thermal energy production is expected to decrease by 2% this year compared to 2024, but will increase in the next three years, according to the 2024-2028 Forecast, autumn version, of the National Strategy and Forecast Commission.
Thus, in 2026, electricity and thermal energy production is estimated to increase by 1.4%, in 2027 by 1.5% and in 2028 by 1.3%, according to Agerpres.
Overall, according to CNSP estimates, industrial production will increase in 2025 by 0.4%, in 2026 by 2.11, in 2027 by 2.4% and in 2028 by 2.3%.
After a decrease of 0.4% in 2025, production in the extractive industry will follow an upward trend, of 0.5% in 2026, 0.8% in 2027 and 0.9% in 2028.
In the manufacturing industry, production will register an advance of 0.8% in 2025, 2.3% in 2026, 2.7% in 2027 and 2.5% in 2028.
