Cernavoda produced more than 6.5 mln. MWh in the first 7 months

The two units of the Nuclear Power Plant in Cernavoda produced in the first seven months of 2015 an amount of electricity of 6.566 million MWh, of which 6.043 million MWh were delivered to the National Power System, according to data published on the Nuclearelectrica website cited by Agerpres.

Thus, Unit 1 produced during that period, 3.458 million MWh and delivered 3.176 MWh, recording an average capacity factor of 96.26% and Unit 2 produced 3.108 MWh and delivered 2.867 MWh, with an average capacity factor of 87.57%.

In July 2015 the two Cernavoda units produced 1.010 million MWh. Unit 1 has registered a capacity factor of 95.64%, and Unit 2 – 97.22%.

Last year, the two units at Cernavoda produced a quantity of electricity 11.675 million MWh and delivered in SEN 10.753 million MWh.

From commissioning and until the end of July 2014, the two units of the nuclear power plant have produced an amount of electricity of 149,11 million MWh and delivered 137,48 million MWh into the system.
