CCE sells 293 MWp PV project in Romania to Renalfa Solarpro Group

    Vienna-based renewable energy specialist CCE has sold Romanian special purpose vehicle Horia Solar Invest 2 to Vienna-based renewables and e-mobility investment group Renalfa Solarpro Group, law firm and deal advisor CMS said, according to Seenews.

    Horia Solar Invest 2 is developing the 269.227 MW (AC)/ 293.260 MWp Horia 2 photovoltaic (PV) project in Romania’s western county of Arad, CMS said. The project will cover an area of over 349 hectares.

    The transaction is due to complete in the first quarter of this year 2026, pending the fulfillment of all necessary conditions. The parties have committed to continue collaborating until the project reaches the commercial operation stage, provided the agreed milestones are met​.

    CCE is an integrated developer and operator of solar and storage projects across Europe and Chile, with a pipeline of over 7.2 GW under development.

    Renalfa Solarpro Group is a Vienna-based clean energy and e-mobility investment group with a focus on renewable energy generation assets. The group develops projects in Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Poland and North Macedonia, according to its corporate website.
