The Minister of the Environment, Barna Tánczos, announced that, from May 19, registrations for the Photovoltaic Green House Program will begin, and they will be done gradually for each region. He declared that the allocated budget is two billion lei, an amount that will ensure financing for 75,000 projects.

The Minister of the Environment said on Tuesday, in a press conference, that this program is fully digitalized.

“Citizens will see a program that means very few documents, completely digitalized. No papers are sent, no files are sent to Bucharest, everything is uploaded online, in a platform managed by the Environment Fund Administration. Through this simplification and digitization we reduce bureaucracy. We are already in the implementation period of the program because on May 2 the registration of the companies that will install the photovoltaic panels began, those companies that, in advance, must obtain the documents and certificates from ANRE. At the moment, there are more than 250 companies already registered in the program and there are several hundred more waiting for ANRE to issue the documents. The interest from companies is huge. This is a good thing – citizens will have the opportunity to choose from several companies, several offers, offers that then turn into signed contracts with the beneficiaries. Our interest is to provide the citizens, the beneficiaries with as many options as possible and to choose the best option from a financial and technical point of view,” stated the Minister of the Environment, according to News.ro.

He added that, compared to previous years, there is no longer a need for preliminary lists from the installers.

“Another very important change compared to previous years. No need for preliminary lists from installers. I hear there are still companies that make lists. There are still potential beneficiaries who sign up to companies on certain lists. No such lists are required to participate in the program. (…) At the moment when the natural person enters the data and receives confirmation from the system that yes, the application has been uploaded and is financeable, after that he has the opportunity to choose the installer. Indeed, in the past years, the installers made the lists, uploaded them to the system, in fact, they took the files to Bucharest, established the order on the list according to personal criteria, I don’t know on what criteria these companies made the order, who is first, who is the last, who enters, who does not enter. We have removed this possibility. It was an incorrect solution for the citizens, we eliminated it,” the Minister of the Environment also said.

He added that every person can upload the required documents in the electronic platform from the moment the application is opened.
