RWEA, The Romanian Association for wind energy aims to support and promote wind energy in every possible way accesible by the law. For now, there are 75 wind energy parks and 1200 installed turbines on the market.

Description

Romanian Association for Wind Energy or "RWEA" (Romanian Wind Energy Association) was founded in 2008 and is registered in the Register of Associations and Foundations Department by the Court 2nd District under no. 73 / 08.08.2008.
RWEA is a professional association serving as a non-governmental organization which was founded in Bucharest, Romania, in accordance with Romanian law. The association is a voluntary body of participants in the wind energy industry in Romania. It aims to promote the proper role of wind energy in the energy mix in Romania and, consequently, to promote a clean, safe and efficient energy for Romania. RWEA members take the facing issues of the members within their regulatory authorities regarding the work done by its members and organizes meetings with authorities trying to solve these problems.
