The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) sanctioned with 155,000 lei the company Distributie Energie Electrică România (DEER) for non-compliance with the legal provisions regarding the connection of prosumers to the electricity networks, according to a release of the authority.

ANRE completed a control action carried out at the company Distributie Energie Electrică Romania (in the area of competence of the former Electricity Distribution Company Transilvania Nord) in which compliance with legal provisions on connecting prosumers to electricity networks was verified, according to Agerpres.

Following the verifications, it was found that the distribution operator incorrectly established connection solutions, thus generating additional costs for prosumers, provided the prosumers, through the website, with incomplete information on the documentation required for connection to the electricity network and completed incorrect content of Technical Connection Approvals (ATR) and Connection Certificates (CR).

For the committed deeds, the company Distribuţie Energie Electrică România was sanctioned with a fine of 155,000 lei, at the same time having measures and compliance deadlines in order to remedy the non-compliant situations found, the ANRE release also states.

DEER is the energy distribution company within the Electrica group.
