The average energy price on the Day Ahead Market (DAM) of the OPCOM Energy Exchange during the week February 18-24 was of 227.62 lei per MWh, slightly down (0.6%) compared to the previous week , according to the operator’s report.

The volume of transactions increased by 3.38% to 536,778 MWh. The total volume of sales offers amounted to 677,730 MWh, up 2.16%, and the sales bids reached 605,137 MWh, up by 1.36%.

The share of the quantities traded on DAM in total energy was of 44.87%, according to Agerpres.

Also, on the spot gas market operated by OPCOM, the weighted average price was 92.03 lei per MWh, down 6.14%.
