Teletrans turned into profit in H1, after closing 2019 in red


Teletrans results for the first half (H1) of this year are remarkable, the company managing to achieve a positive financial result, with a net profit of 309,848 lei, while in the same period last year there was a loss registered, worth 442,960 lei.

Teletrans carries out activities for the provision of specific telecommunications services, process informatics and managerial informatics both for the main customer, Transelectrica, and also for other telecommunications customers.

At the end of 2019, the company registered a loss of about 4.68 million lei. The financial result of the company improved in a consistent way compared to the previous year, being influenced especially by the massive decrease of expenses, which were reduced by 797,076 lei compared to the same period of 2019.

The share capital of Teletrans S.A. was on 30.06.2020 of 6,874,430 lei, consisting of a number of 687,443 shares with a nominal value of 10 lei. Own capital on 30.06.2020 has the total value of 28,386,566 lei, registering a decrease of approximately 12.2% compared to the previous year.

During the first half of 2020, Teletrans S.A. continued the established business lines: specific telecommunications services, process informatics and managerial informatics, registering revenues amounting to 17,055,734 lei, comparable to the same period last year, when revenues amounting to 17,043,833 lei were posted.

“At the same time, in order to diversify the activity and increase revenues, we are considering the inclusion of new services in the company’s portfolio. The development of the service portfolio will be achieved both reactively, based on customer requests, but also proactively, by constantly adapting the package of services offered to technological developments and market dynamics. At the same time, even if the results obtained by Teletrans S.A. in the first semester they were very good, the steps to increase profitability will continue with the reorganization of support departments in order to create a more flexible and efficient structure in managing pre and post sales processes,” said Dragoș Roibu, general manager of Teletrans.
