WALDEVAR Holding announces a significant strategic move by acquiring Elemo, transforming it into WALDEVAR Power Grid. The integration will revolutionize how renewable energy projects are connected to the national grid, eliminating frequent delays caused by connection issues.

With a strengthened capacity to execute complex high-voltage works, WALDEVAR Power Grid aims to become a trusted partner for transmission and distribution operators. The integration of Elemo’s expertise, which includes the execution of over 1500 km of high-voltage lines, allows the group to offer complete solutions, from design to maintenance.

WALDEVAR Power Grid will eliminate dependence on subcontractors, taking full responsibility for the design, execution, and maintenance of the connection infrastructure. This approach not only reduces risks for investors but also increases the efficiency of the connection process, a crucial aspect in the context of the accelerated growth in demand for renewable energy in Romania.

Through this acquisition, WALDEVAR Holding strengthens its position in the European energy sector, with a portfolio that includes over 3.5 GW of installed or under-construction capacity across various European countries.
