The company Volt is thinking of integrating the recycling part of solar panels into its services in the future.

“We will explore the option of recycling photovoltaic panels in the future. Not for now, but in the future, we clearly want to integrate the recycling part as well”, said Cristian Stan, Sales Consultant at Volt, at the conference “Digitalization and energy efficiency – Timișoara”, organized by Energynomics.

Volt has projects totaling approximately 225 MWp in various phases of execution. The company has 35 employees. “In the current context, a prosumer-type photovoltaic system pays for itself in a period of 4-5 years from commissioning”, said Stan.

Also, photovoltaics ensures a high degree of independence from the national energy network and can be financed by a multitude of non-reimbursable funds available in the next period.

Romania has a slight advance from the perspective of the share of energy from renewable sources compared to the European average, reaching in 2020 the objective of 24% of the total energy consumption coming from renewable sources.

Over the past year, this accelerated growth has been supported by funding programs announced by the European Union, such as the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and soon, the Modernization Fund.

The two programs will help to fulfill the objective set by the Romanian government to reach the threshold of 30.7% of total energy consumption from renewable sources by 2030.

The conference “Digitalization and energy efficiency – Timișoara” was organised by Energynomics with the support of our partners BCR, Finder, Lapp România, REI Group, Volt.
