Volt has 86 MW in “ready to build” stage in seven ground-mounted PV parks

Volt to start construction work on Europe’s largest rooftop PV project with an installed capacity of 12 MW, said Cristian Stan, Area Sales Manager at Volt, at the conference “Digitalization and Energy Efficiency – Cluj-Napoca”, organized by Energynomics.

“Our team is made up of 35 qualified people specialised in areas such as design, project management, procurement and legal. The whole team works with the aim of delivering high quality solutions to our clients, partners and investors”, said Cristian Stan.

Volt has more than 30 projects in its portfolio, totalling around 225 MWp. The company’s previous record was the construction of a 5.5 MW PV plant in Cluj.

The company has seven ground-mounted PV parks in the “ready to build” stage this year, with a capacity of 86 MW. In 2024, other projects will follow, totalling 124 MW, and are in various stages of development.

According to Stan, in the current context, a prosumer PV system pays for itself within 4-5 years of commissioning.
