Tinmar Energy is the target of baseless attacks in certain media outlets, as the company has not dropped any customers or terminated any contracts, company officials told Energynomics.

“For 3 days we have been trying not to give in to these attacks and we are working on a right of reply to present our point of view,” company officials said.

They sent a statement to the press, in which it is stated that Tinmar does not withdraw from supply segment, does not give up its supply license and does not go into insolvency or bankruptcy.

“Tinmar Energy has not unilaterally terminated any contract and none of Tinmar’s consumers will be left without electricity,” they say.

Also, domestic consumers were not subject to the notifications sent by the supplying company.

Tinmar officials claim that the sensational headlines such as “100,000 customers remain without a supplier”, “Tinmar submits the license to ANRE”, “Tinmar in Bankruptcy” are meant to increase the number of readers or to denigrate the company’s image and name, being totally erroneous and clearly malicious.

“This information is untrue, offensive and absurd and aims to discredit the activity of our company.”

“Tinmar Energy has 3,000 end consumers in its portfolio. The use of irresponsibly exaggerated, totally untrue information, the erroneous induction of the idea that Tinmar Energy could leave such a large number of consumers, the equivalent of the inhabitants of a city the size of Bacău, without electricity is obviously likely to put our society in an unfavorable light both in the relationship with the clients and with the financing institutions. Tinmar Energy has not unilaterally denounced any contract and none of Tinmar’s consumers will be left without electricity,” company officials said.

Regarding the information that “Tinmar Energy submitted the license to ANRE”, the company reacted: “This news is pure fiction with a strong negative impact on the image of our company. Our company has not given up and does not intend to give up the electricity supply activity, it will not give up on the contracts and will continue to respect its contractual obligations in full,” claim Tinmar representatives.

“Consequently, we appreciate that, by providing untrue information, without asking

The Department of Public Relations within Tinmar Energy minimal clarifications in relation to the erroneous statements and unfounded accusations, transmitted in the mass media, misinforms the public opinion in a totally unprofessional and tendentious manner and causes serious damage to the image of the company.”
