Romgaz has awarded a contract worth almost 6 million lei (5.994 million lei plus VAT) for the development of a modern digital platform, through which it will become a direct gas and energy supplier, including for domestic customers. The winning consortium – led by Ringhel Team, in partnership with Cima Data Analytics and subcontractor ETA2U – has until the end of the year to deliver an integrated system to manage contracting, billing, online payments and the transmission of auto-quoted indexes, complying with ANRE and e-Factura requirements.

The consumer portal will provide access to invoices and payment history, real-time consumption data, the possibility of online payment and the management of complaints or legislative notifications. By integrating with the existing Oracle ERP, Romgaz aims to automate processes, significantly reducing response time and administrative costs.

În prezent, compania furnizează concurențial gaze pentru circa 600 de puncte de consum și energie pentru 400, plus 2.500 de puncte ca furnizor de ultimă instanță.

Two other consortia participated in the tender: one led by Greensoft SRL, together with CRIsoft and Focality, and another led by Metaminds, in association with Cemar Professional Consulting, but the Ringhel-CIMA-ETA2U bid was the best technical and financial score. The initial estimated budget was 8.587 million lei plus VAT, with a 90-day delivery deadline, but in order to ensure a smooth integration, Romgaz extended the deadline to 150 days and allowed the use of COTS (Custom-Off-The-Shelf) solutions, which means that implementation can be accelerated by customizing existing solutions.
