Romgaz approves new bond issues worth 750 mln. euro

    Romgaz shareholders approved on Monday the launch of bond issues with a maximum total value of 750 million euro, according to a company report submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

    “The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of the National Natural Gas Company “ROMGAZ S.A., meeting in session, at first call, on October 20, 2025, 1:00 p.m. (Romanian time), (…) adopted the following Resolution: approval within the EMTN program launched by S.N.G.N. ROMGAZ S.A., as approved by Resolution of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders no. 10/1 July 2024 (“EMTN Program”), of one or more issues (including any combination thereof) of corporate bonds, unsecured, non-convertible, governed by any applicable law and which may be issued in any form and type, in a maximum aggregate principal amount of EUR 750,000,000 inclusive (or the equivalent of this amount in any other currency)”, according to the report.

    Romgaz is the largest producer and main supplier of natural gas in Romania. The company is admitted to trading on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB). The main shareholder is the Romanian state with a 70% stake.
