GREEN ENERGY EXPO & ROMENVIROTEC 2026 (March 3–5, 2026, Romexpo) positions Bucharest as a regional meeting point for solutions, decision-making, and investment in the fields of green energy, the environment, and sustainable infrastructure. The 2026 edition focuses on cross-border collaboration between Romania and the Republic of Moldova, in a context where infrastructure, water, environment, and energy projects are becoming strategically important for the region.

A major new feature announced for 2026 is The Living City Experience, an urban demo concept in which solutions are no longer presented in isolation but integrated into a functional “city,” demonstrated live in a dedicated area. At the same time, the exhibition is significantly expanding its international component through a strategic Asia–Europe axis, with national pavilions and hundreds of companies from dynamic markets, alongside manufacturers and distributors from the energy sector.

The organizers describe the event as an implementation-oriented tool. Mihai Costriș, Executive Director of ROMEXPO, emphasizes that the exhibition is becoming “a working tool for companies, experts, and authorities,” with a focus on “applicable solutions and sustainable partnerships.” Camelia Buda, General Manager of EUROEXPO Fairs, highlights the importance of connecting innovators and decision-makers: “Our mission is to create a meeting point” between those who develop solutions and those who can decide on their implementation at the community level.

360° for sustainable living: energy, water, waste, digitalization

The event structure includes three major directions and an integrated approach to urban sustainability, with technology for energy, water, and waste, but also with components for the digitization of public services, in line with the real needs of administrations and communities.

    • GREEN ENERGY EXPO – technologies for renewable energy production and storage (solar modules, inverters, batteries, storage systems), e-mobility, and energy efficiency solutions.
    • ROMENVIROTEC – solutions for environmental protection: waste collection, sorting, and recycling, sanitation, drinking water and wastewater management.
    • URBAN SMART EXPO – technologies for smart cities: urban mobility, smart lighting, digital infrastructure, smart living, and digital services for communities.

The exhibition announces a wide range of brands and solutions, displayed in pavilions and on outdoor platforms, with a profile dedicated to professionals in energy, environment, construction, urban planning, and public administration, alongside investors, developers, entrepreneurs, start-ups, academia, and NGOs. At the same time, the event remains open to domestic users interested in green and smart solutions.

Admission is free from March 3 to 5, 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., in Pavilions B1 and B2 of Romexpo and on the outdoor platforms.

    Energynomics Day – March 4

Energynomics is a partner of this year’s edition of GREEN ENERGY EXPO & ROMENVIROTEC and is launching Energynomics Day – a day dedicated to meetings, dialogue, and applied ideas about energy transition, sustainability, and community investment. The event brings together companies, authorities, and professionals interested in green technologies, real projects, and collaborations that can be replicated at the local and regional levels.
