Augsburg. Renexpo, the renewable technology exhibition held at Augsburg last weekend, will be present at Sala Palatului in Bucharest, between 19 and 21 November. At Augsburg, renewable energy manufacturers presented their latest technologies. And in addition to innovative technologies in solar and wind have presented new energy saving systems. For example, companies offer an innovative energy management system or for efficiency of water use by 15% through eliminating deposits with the help of vibrations.

But stars are still the electric cars.

Reevolt: A Fiat 500e of 24,500 euros

Reevolt built a new electric model based on the body of Fiat 500. The model has a range of 100 kilometers and is intended solely for the city transport and can reach a top speed of 105 km / h. The novelty is that Reevolt can turn any model into an electric car.

Those from Reevolt say that city cars are used on an average distance of 30 km, and with its own solar system, the energy independence is achieved.

New BMW i3 and i8

If i3 is the first BMWW electric premium compact mass-produced, i8 is the first luxury hybrid car that can be purchased at the price of about 126,000 euros.
Based on Mini E prototype, BMW i3 can have a range of up to 190 km.

The maximum speed can reach 150 km/h, with a 125 kW engine. Acceleration beats the one on some diesel models, 7.2 seconds to reach the speed of 100 km/s.

The recharge can take up to 30 minutes at a rapid stop with DC 125 amps, or from 6 to 8 hours at a 16 amps station. I3 prices start from 33,000 euros.

BMW i8 – Hybrid technology, emissions of 49 g/km

BMW i8 instead is a hybrid that can only go 37 km in electric mode. The battery recharges in just 2-2.5 hours, depending on the station available (12 or 16A) and electrical speed can reach 120 km/h. Meanwhile, the total maximum speed is 250 hm h and consumption is only 2.1 liters at 100 km in hybrid mode. BMW TwinPower Turbo diesl engine, 1.5-liter and three-cylinder, produces up to 231 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. However, carbon emissions are just 49 grams per km.

Mercedes B-Klasse electric, rivalry with i3

New electric Mercedes Class B is about the same price as the BMW i3 and has a similar range. It reaches 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, uses an electric motor for 177 horsepower with front transmission, and charges in about 2 hours at 240 V. Currently, it is being sold in 10 countries, but the market will expand in 2015.

On the list of other electric, hybrid or LPG-based technologies models present in Renexpo were manufacturers like VW, Opel, Audi, Renault or Skoda.
