Telecommunications company RCS & RDS, which recently became active in the energy market, introduced new bids on CMBC-EB platform, managed by OPCOM.

Thus, RCS wants to buy 416 MWh with delivery during peak hours at maximum price of 100 lei/MWh. Delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of next year, according to Bursa newspaper.

RCS & RDS also bought hydropower at the end of 2014, responding to an offer for sale originated by Hidroelectrica in CMBC market. Thus, the company gave Hidroelectrica 160.05 lei/MWh for a quantity of 10,920 MWh, energy to be delivered in the second quarter of this year.
