International investor Hagag Development Europe consolidates its operations in the energy sector and the local management structure, and announces the official appointment of Răzvan Pârvulescu as Director of Development of the Natural Gas Division within Hagag Energy, according to a company press release.
Involved with the Hagag Energy team since the division’s formation stage, Răzvan Pârvulescu officially takes over the leadership of the Development and Expansion department at a time when the company is rapidly expanding its footprint in the natural gas distribution segment.
From this role, Răzvan will continue to coordinate the activity of the Development and Expansion department, focusing on expanding the concession portfolio, defining and implementing the medium and long-term development strategy of the Natural Gas Division, as well as on developing new business lines relevant to this market segment.

With over 17 years of experience in management and business development, Răzvan Pârvulescu has held, during his professional career, both management positions within private companies with activities in the fields of telecommunications, civil construction and energy, as well as positions with a diplomatic component.
In the first three months since Hagag Energy was launched, its efforts focused on expanding its concession portfolio and accelerating ongoing projects, during which Hagag Energy added five contracts to its portfolio for the concession of the public natural gas distribution service, namely design, construction and operation works of natural gas distribution networks, reaching today a total of 72 and a national presence covering 95 localities and two cities, in 18 counties in the country.

In the medium and long term, exclusively within the Natural Gas Division, Hagag Energy’s development directions remain correlated with the dynamics of the “Anghel Saligny” National Investment Program – which supports the expansion of gas infrastructure at local level, one of the company’s main objectives being to successfully complete, by the end of 2027, all 69 networks related to the concessions it holds.
Hagag Energy is found in the top 20 positions out of the total of 27 licensed operators at national level, with a total volume of 72 active contracts, positioning itself as one of the relevant players in Romania, in this market segment. Currently, the company already has 3 networks completed and in operation, 21 projects in the design phase, 23 in execution, and another 25 in various stages of approval.
