Over 11,100 funding applications were submitted in the first hour since the start of the 2026 session of the Rabla car and motorcycle subsidy program for individuals, announced the Administration of the Environmental Fund (AFM), in a post published on the institution’s Facebook page.

The institution notes that interest in motorcycles was high, with the 15 million lei budget intended for the purchase of motorcycles and electric motorcycles being exhausted in nine minutes.

“Today, July 20, 2026, at 10:00, registrations began for the Rabla Auto 2026 Program, dedicated to individuals. In the first hour after the opening of the registration session, over 1,100 files were submitted for the purchase of less polluting vehicles and motorcycles. In the category intended for new vehicles with thermal propulsion systems (internal combustion, including LPG/CNG engines), 6,452 files were registered, worth 72,710,000 lei, out of the total allocated budget of 165,000,000 lei. At the same time, interest in motorcycles was very high, the budget of 15,000,000 lei intended for the purchase of motorcycles and electric motorcycles, being exhausted in just nine minutes after the opening of the session, through the submission of 1,293 files”, the AFM reported.

Within the “Rabla Auto” program, individuals can benefit from the following eco-tickets: 18,500 lei for the purchase of a new purely electric or hydrogen fuel cell vehicle; 15,000 lei for the purchase of a new plug-in hybrid vehicle or an electric motorcycle; 12,000 lei for the purchase of a new vehicle with a hybrid propulsion system; 10,000 lei for the purchase of a new vehicle with a thermal propulsion system, including LPG/CNG, or a motorcycle.
