The Solis project at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca is more than a student initiative: it is an educational laboratory where engineering is also learned by doing, in real-life conditions, from design and testing to international competitions. Since 2018, the team has been building experimental solar vehicles capable of competing at the highest global level, putting Romania on the map of green mobility and training a generation of young practicing engineers. Through this series of articles, Energynomics brings to the forefront not only the technical performances and competitive adventures of the Solis team, but also their relevance for the labor market, the energy and automotive industry, and society at large.
