Polytrade Global, through its research and development division, RORD Dynamics, has patented the innovative Wings Solar Tracker technology, a solution that promises to revolutionize photovoltaic energy capture and reduce installation and maintenance costs.

According to Gabriel Merlușcă, co-founder and CEO of Polytrade Global, “obtaining the patent will mark a new stage in Polytrade Global’s strategy for developing proprietary technologies.” The Wings Solar Tracker technology optimizes the performance of photovoltaic parks through dynamic panel orientation, tracking the sun’s movement with precise adjustments, which maximizes energy production.

This system includes dynamic East-West movement and concave and convex positions that contribute to increased resilience against extreme weather phenomena, such as storms and hail. “We want to demonstrate that small and capable teams can build and innovate even in the absence of external funding,” added Merlușcă, emphasizing the importance of innovation in the Romanian energy sector.

The Wings Solar Tracker stands out with a series of competitive advantages, including increased energy production, enhanced resilience to severe weather conditions, reduced installation and maintenance costs, and lower operational risk due to the decentralization of mobile components. These features are essential for the development of a more efficient energy infrastructure in a global context of transition to clean energy sources.

RORD Dynamics has collaborated with strategic partners and has benefited from support in managing intellectual property through the Nomenius agency, thus strengthening Polytrade Global’s technological position in the international market. The Wings Solar Tracker project is expected to significantly contribute to the efficiency of investments in renewable energy, with the ambition of becoming a globally used solution in large-scale projects.
