Petrom recorded a net profit of 473 million lei in the third quarter of 2016 compared to a loss of 43 million lei in Q3 2015.

The company recorded a profit of 878 million lei in the first nine months of 2016, down by 11% compared to the first nine months of 2015 when the company had a net profit of 991 million lei. In the third quarter 2015 it had a loss of 43 million lei.

Petrom reported a net profit of 117 million lei in the second quarter 2016, down by 83% compared to the second quarter 2015 (691 million lei). In the first half, the net profit fell by 61% compared to H1 2015 from 1.03 billion lei, to 405 million lei.

Petrom shifted to profit (288 million lei) in the first quarter of 2016, down by 17% compared to Q1 2015 (net profit of 345 million lei).

Petrom finished 2015 with a loss of 690 million lei, the first annual loss since its privatization in 2004, compared to a net profit of 2.1 billion lei in 2014.
