Nuclearelectrica (SNN) announced to its shareholders and investors, through an announcement sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange, the introduction of changes in the company’s management. Following the decisions of the Board of Directors, the new organizational structure includes three positions of Deputy General Manager. The amendments appear to strengthen the authority of the Director General Cosmin Ghiță, given that all three positions will be under his direct coordination.

The term of office of Deputy General Manager of Dan Laurențiu Tudor ended by the agreement of the parties, before the deadline. This position turns into that of Deputy General Manager of Corporate Services, a position that involves coordinating procurement processes, legal, human resources, communication and compliance and will be held by Laura Constantin, former Director of the Legal Department of SNN.

The post of Deputy Director General of Commerce and Development was created for coordinating the processes of investments, electricity transactions and mining licenses. The position will be provided by Melania Amuza, formerly the Director of SNN’s Investment Department.

Romeo Urjan, former Director of Operations, will be the Deputy Chief Operating Officer and will coordinate the operations, production, independent assessment of nuclear safety, fuel, security, management systems and process analysis.

The three positions of Deputy General Manager consider the efficiency of SNN’s activities and processes in relation to the complexity and duration of investment projects, the diversification of the human resources strategy, the procurement processes and the effective development of the stages related to the investment projects.

Dan Laurențiu Tudor, with a professional experience of over 25 years in activities of management, coordination and control of processes in the fields of energy and construction, will remain with the company and will occupy the position of expert. He will be involved in strategic development projects, Nuclearelectrica said.
