Nobel Oil Downstream opened its first fuel station in Romania

Nobel Oil Downstream Romania opened its first filling station in our country, in Iași. The petrol station will serve over 1,200 cars a day, estimates the company’s representatives. The station is located on one of the most heavily traveled arteries in Iași and is able to supply six vehicles simultaneously.

The roof of the station allows installation of photo-voltaic panels to cover its electricity needs. Nobel Oil is the first company in Romania offering a payment terminal outside the store, allowing customers to pay cash or with card.

Michael wring, CEO of Nobel Oil Services (UK) Ltd stressed that the opening of the first stations in Romania reflects Nobel Oil Services’ growth strategy. He said: “This downstream project in Romania is the first of its kind for us and reflects the company’s concern to diversify and seek new markets and opportunities. We believe in the success of this business, which will strengthen Nobel Oil’s position in energy business.”

John Long, CEO of Nobel Oil Downstream Romania said: “This will be my fourth entry in the downstream market, the fifth worldwide and first for a completely new brand. Therefore it is my greatest pleasure to launch Nobel Oil in Romania.”

Nobel Oil Downstream Romania aims to develop a national presence by 2018.
