OMV Petrom and Auchan Retail Romania have opened 200 MyAuchan stores in Petrom stations so far, half of the total number agreed by the two partners. By the end of the year, the number of MyAuchan convenience stores in the Petrom network will reach approximately 280 units, OMV Petrom announces.

The joint budget of the two companies for this project is of 50 million euros.

Starting with 2021, the project has been accelerated, so that its completion can take place a year earlier, in 2023. This year, another 80 convenience stores will be inaugurated in Petrom stations.

The integration of MyAuchan stores is done simultaneously with the modernization of the appearance of Petrom brand stations, and the joint budget of the two companies for this project amounts to 50 million euros.

To mark the opening of the 200 stores, between July 11 and 24, 2022, a promotional campaign will be organized in all Petrom stations with MyAuchan stores.

“It is the first partnership of this kind in Romania and I am glad that we have started with Auchan partners. Our customers appreciate both the diversified product offer and the new modern look of our locations. We will continue to improve the online shopping experience of Petrom stations in parallel with the diversification of the mobility offer,” says Radu Căprău, member of the Management Board of OMV Petrom, responsible for the Refining and Marketing activity.
