The Government considers that the Mintia Thermal Power Plant, belonging to the Hunedoara Energy Complex, to be taken over by the Hunedoara County Council. In other news, the Thermal Power Plant Paroseni will receive the integrated environmental permit next week, according to officials of the Ministry of Energy.

Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă met with representatives of the leadership and trade union leaders of CEH Paroseni. The government delegation included Finance Minister Eugen Teodorovici, Labor Minister Marius Budai and State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy Doru Visan, according to investenergy.ro.

„We have been looking for solutions to meet today’s needs in Paroseni and Mintia, for the energy issues in the area. I came with State Secretary Visan, from the Ministry of Energy, because I believe that the solutions should also be approved by the Ministry of Public Finance, local authorities and those with implications in this field. We decided to have a discussion at Victoria Palace on Monday so we can adopt an emergency ordinance on the Mintia- to give it to the County Council. This allows us at the same time to access European funds and help the area,” the prime minister said, according to Agerpres.
