The Minister of Energy, Virgil Popescu, announces the launch of the call for projects for the production of energy from renewable sources, with a budget of 457.7 million euro, for which applications can be submitted between March 31 and May 31, 2022.

“Very important announcement! We announce the launch of the call for projects for the production of energy from renewable sources (wind and solar), with a budget of 457,700,000 euros, financed by PNRR. Applications can be submitted between March 31 and May 31, 2022. We come up with real solutions and the necessary funding, with the realization of projects that can be financed under this aid scheme, with the aim of increasing by approximately 950 MW the installed capacity to produce electricity from wind and solar energy, with or without integrated storage facilities. Making investments means long-term solutions for our country’s energy security,” the minister wrote on his Facebook page, according to Agerpres.

According to a release of the Ministry of Energy, the Specific Guide, which can be accessed on the website of the Ministry of Energy, under the heading “European Financing – PNRR”, aims to support investments in new capacities to produce electricity from renewable wind energy sources and solar, with or without integrated storage facilities, with project completion deadline, respectively network connection – June 2024.

“This scheme based on the competitive bidding procedure applies only to new installations for the production of electricity from renewable sources of wind and solar energy,” the ministry said.

The State aid scheme based on the competitive bidding procedure is addressed to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as to large enterprises, including newly established enterprises.
