The meeting of the Interministerial Committee on Energy was held on Tuesday to discuss the set of measures that will help protect the population and the economy from the effects of rising energy and gas prices, in which context the solution to simplify the procedures for settling energy invoices to suppliers was presented, according to Agerpres.

According to a Government statement, at the same meeting, at the request of the participants, in order to identify the most suitable sustainable solutions to ensure the sustainability of measures to protect domestic consumers, but also the business environment from the waves of rising prices, will continue the process of collecting the proposals forwarded by the social dialogue partners and the responsible authorities, and next week the meetings to discuss the solutions will be resumed.
