The Hidroelectrica Group recorded a gross electricity production of 9,601 GWh in the first nine months of this year-a 10% increase compared to the same period in 2025-of which 9,416 GWh was generated from hydro sources, according to preliminary data published on Thursday on the Bucharest Stock Exchange website.

Net electricity production for the aforementioned period totaled 9,328 GWh (+10%). Net production from hydro sources reached 9,149 GWh for the nine-month period (+10%), while 179 GWh was generated from wind sources (-3%).

According to the Hidroelectrica Group”s key preliminary operational indicators, the company purchased 1,983 GWh of electricity between January and September 2026, a 20% decrease compared to the same period in 2025.

The total volume of electricity sold by the Hidroelectrica Group in the first nine months amounted to 11,310 GWh, an increase of 12% compared to the same period of the previous year.
