Hagag Energy, the energy investment platform of the international group Hagag Europe, continues its process of consolidating its local management structure by appointing Pavel Ciubotaru as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Natural Gas Division.
With over 25 years of experience in the energy industry, Pavel Ciubotaru joins the company at a time of accelerated development of the division’s business lines and sustained expansion of the concession portfolio.
Throughout his career, he has held leadership and executive management positions in international companies active across the entire energy sector value chain, both in Romania and at regional level. His professional background includes the coordination of large investment and strategic development projects, as well as solid expertise in energy infrastructure development, project financing, logistics, corporate governance and performance management.

In his new position, Pavel Ciubotaru will coordinate the operational activity of the Natural Gas Division, with direct responsibilities in optimizing processes, harmonizing the collaboration between the Development, Building Construction, Distribution and Supply departments, as well as in supervising the division’s support departments.

The consolidation of the executive team marks a new stage in the development of Hagag Energy, amid the expansion of the concession portfolio and the increase in the volume of projects under completion. In the coming months, the company plans to complete the works for 17 natural gas distribution networks, as well as the operationalization of a total of 10 networks, by the end of the year.
Hagag Energy continues its investments in distribution infrastructure and in parallel, intensifies its natural gas supply operations and multi-sector expansion plans, with the objective of building an integrated energy platform, focused on operational efficiency, execution discipline and long-term growth.
