GreenTech PRO has set a target of reaching a 3 GW portfolio in the photovoltaic sector by 2027, focusing on the expansion of large-scale projects and the development of its EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracting business. The company, which currently has over 1.5 GW of capacity either installed or under construction, is presently working on two photovoltaic parks-Corbii Mari (Dâmbovița County) and Valter (Giurgiu County)-with a combined capacity of approximately 400 MW, reports Agenda Construcțiilor.
These projects follow the 297.5 MW Butimanu 1&2 development, which was completed in just one year. Looking ahead, GreenTech PRO has a pipeline of projects exceeding 700 MW and is also pursuing expansion into Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). With a portfolio of over 1.5 GW installed or currently under construction, Greentech Professionals is one of the companies that recognized early on the direction in which the energy sector is heading. Over the past two years, the firm has focused its attention and resources primarily on the Romanian photovoltaic market, following a long period spent building utility-scale solar farms internationally-specifically in Italy and Spain. This decision was no coincidence; it stems from the clear growth of Romania’s renewable energy market, as well as the company’s desire to play a direct role in developing the national energy sector by bringing the experience gained from large-scale international projects to the local market. Currently, GreenTech PRO has approximately 400 MW under construction, split between two projects: Corbii Mari, in Dâmbovița County, and Valter, in Giurgiu County. Both are in the construction phase, with teams working to ensure they are completed within the established deadlines.
