Romanian Government has announced a tender for the contract regarding the development of the maritime space, a document that it needs, like the other EU countries with access to the sea, in order to start the installation of offshore wind turbines, according to e-nergia.ro.

The Ministry of Public Works, Development and Administration has put out a tender for a contract for “procurement of expertise services for the substantiation and elaboration of the Maritime Spatial Planning Plan”, according to the announcement published in the Electronic Public Procurement System.

The Government is willing to pay about 1.2 million lei for this acquisition.

Broadly speaking, it provides for “the conclusion of a contract, in order to procure expertise services for the substantiation and elaboration of the Maritime Spatial Planning Plan, in accordance with the provisions of Directive 2014/89 / EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 July 2014 of a framework for the arrangement of the maritime space and of the Government Ordinance no. 18/2016 on the arrangement of the maritime space, within the project “Cross-border Maritime Spatial Planning for Black Sea – Bulgaria and Romania” – as shown in the document.
