Gas bill will contain information about how to change the provider

The gas supplier will be obliged to make available for the end customers, throughout the invoice, information regarding the right of the end customer to change the supplier free of charge, while respecting the contractual conditions, according to the procedure approved by ANRE, shows a proposal for a regulation of the natural gas supply, reinstated for public debate by the regulator.

If the regulation will be introduced in its current form, the gas suppliers will also have to include in the bill information regarding the modalities for submitting complaints by the end customers, option that they have if they are not satisfied with the method of resolving the complaint, and information about the benefit of a minimum level of quality.

The gas bill will include, mandatory, comparisons between the current consumption and the consumption of the end customer corresponding to the same period of the previous year, preferably in graphic form, reads the document submitted to public consultation.

Work on the restored document, has now carefully began last summer, with the regulator already making a number of changes to the initiative and proposals of many industry associations. The public consultation will last until the 16th of February.
