The annual sustainability assessment for the 2025-2026 financial year for Farmexim and Help Net highlights significant progress in the field of environmental protection, professional development and access to health services. By investing in renewable energy and education, the two companies support the development of a more accessible, efficient and sustainable health system.

Through their complementary activities, Farmexim and Help Net contribute to the consolidation of the Romanian health system. Farmexim ensures the efficient distribution of medicines, and Help Net invests in education, professional development of the team and the improvement of pharmaceutical services for patients.

For Farmexim, one of the most relevant results of the last year was the acceleration of investments in renewable energy. The electricity production generated by the company’s photovoltaic installations increased almost fivefold, from 161 MWh in the 2024-2025 financial year to 772 MWh in 2025-2026, contributing to reducing dependence on conventional energy sources and reducing the impact on the environment. These investments, together with operational efficiency measures, supported the reduction of total greenhouse gas emissions to 5,700.11 tCO2e, a 3.61% reduction compared to the previous year.

“Investments in renewable energy, education and professional development of employees are part of our commitment to contribute to a more resilient and sustainable healthcare system. Through Farmexim and Help Net, we aim to generate a positive long-term impact for patients, communities and healthcare professionals,” said Nikolay Kolev, Managing Director Farmexim & Help Net.
