The first wave of energy production units from renewable sources in Romania was done “by ear”, without the know-how and with imported equipment and techniques, says Răzvan Encică, Managing Director Phoenix Contact Romania, during the conference “New wave of renewables”, organized by Energynomics.

“In Romania, in the first wave, everyone followed suit, there was no know-how. Trucks from other countries were just coming with equipment and solar panels and Romania only dug ditches”, said Encică.

He added that the energy generated in renewable units is variable and difficult to predict, and it cannot cover demand all the time. In addition, renewable power plants are generally small capacities distributed at numerous points. Encică also mentioned that the manufacturers of equipment for this industry are facing two crises, namely one of logistics and one of the human resources.

In his presentation, Răzvan Encică briefly referred to an optimized solution for the management of solar parks through which can be obtained up to 40% reduction in costs. MORE HERE!
