ENEVO Group offers one of the most advanced technical solutions for accelerating the connection of new renewable capacities to the National Energy System, at a time when pressure on infrastructure is becoming suffocating. The company has introduced the fastest and most reliable automated operational limitation (ALO) system, a technology designed to enable power plants to access areas of the grid that would normally require costly and time-consuming reinforcement work.

The ALO solution is built on advanced communication protocols and technologies borrowed from critical applications. In practice, the system acts as an intelligent protection mechanism: it continuously monitors the status of sensitive network elements and automatically intervenes when an overload or abnormal operating scenario occurs. Power limitation or temporary disconnection of the power plant are applied to maintain network stability and avoid chain damage or interruptions.

Reliability is ensured by the use of internationally recognized digital protection terminals for stable behavior in harsh industrial environments. The modular architecture allows simultaneous data distribution to multiple users, reducing integration costs and increasing operational flexibility. At the same time, the entire communication flow is monitored by proprietary cybersecurity technologies, compliant with the requirements of the NIS2 Directive and continuously monitored by ENEVO specialists within the DLC OmniSOC.

The presentation event also included demonstrations dedicated to OT security, through the SentryOT platform, as well as applied sessions on operating a Security Operation Center adapted to energy infrastructures. For renewable energy developers, the central message was clear: rapid connection is no longer possible without the simultaneous integration of digitization, 24/7 monitoring, and robust cyber resilience measures.

“The accelerated pace of connecting new renewable power plants to the grid can no longer be sustained by traditional infrastructure alone,” said Radu Brașoveanu, CTO and co-founder of ENEVO Group. “We need intelligent automation, continuous monitoring, and integrated cybersecurity from the design stage onwards. […] Our mission is not only to help producers connect faster, but to ensure that they remain connected safely, efficiently, and resiliently,” he explained.

By launching this solution, ENEVO is consolidating its role as a technology integrator in a sector where the growth of renewable capacities is increasingly dependent on software and hardware solutions capable of stabilizing an energy system undergoing transformation. With expertise in electrical substations, industrial automation, and cybersecurity for critical infrastructure, the company continues to expand working models already validated in projects in Romania, Saudi Arabia, Spain, and Germany.

In a market where every new megawatt depends on the grid’s ability to manage variable flows, technologies such as ALO are becoming an essential link between investment ambition and operational reality. And their rapid evolution points to the direction in which the entire energy sector will move in the coming years.
