Enevo Group has 250 MWh of battery energy storage capacity ready for installation this year, said Răzvan Copoiu, Deputy CEO of the company.

“Right now, renewables are growing fast and it’s clear that it’s not going to stop there,” Copoiu told at the 11th Energy Strategy Summit, the flagship event of Energynomics.

He said the company’s green energy division has become the largest within the Enevo Group, generating 70% of turnover.

The company has tripled its turnover in each of the last three years and, according to Copoiu, the wave of investment in renewable projects is gaining impressive traction, attracting significant sums from outside the country.

“We have clients who are coming to Romania for the first time and are already investing tens or even hundreds of millions of euros.”

Enevo Group currently employs 350 people in Romania alone.
