ENEVO Group aims to become Romania’s leader in renewable energy, focusing on large-scale photovoltaic and battery storage projects while expanding internationally with new offices in Germany, Spain, and Egypt, said Răzvan Copoiu, the company’s Deputy CEO.

“What sets us apart is our steady and sustained growth over recent years. In 2020, after the Covid period, we doubled our annual turnover, and now we have 500 employees and expect a business volume of over 350 million euro in 2026. Our medium-term strategy is to strengthen our position in Romania while expanding internationally, because although the domestic market is very promising, it will reach its infrastructure limits in a few years,” Copoiu said, at the opening of the 13th edition of Spring Cocktail, an event organized by Energynomics.

This year, the company has approximately 1.5 GW of photovoltaic capacity and 1 GW of battery storage under construction, including a landmark 800 MW project. Also, the company will continue to invest in training young engineers and in software for automation, cybersecurity, and trading services, reinforcing its local market presence while preparing for expansion into Western Europe and the Middle East.

“We will continue expanding our software capabilities, including cybersecurity, our dispatch center, and trading services. All these areas are growing rapidly, and we will always bet on Romania because it’s the best market for us. We will invest in our people, and of course, we aim to become international”, Copoiu added.
