The Energy Employers’ Federation (FPE) welcomes the partnership with the Romanian Diplomatic Institute (IDR), through which the “Energy Diplomacy” professional development and training program will be carried out.
The program is designed to provide a strategic perspective on how energy influences international relations and on the role of diplomacy in managing resources, interests and cooperation between states, announces FPE (formerly FPPG).
“In a complex geopolitical context, marked by the global energy transition and the need for security of supply, energy diplomacy is becoming an essential skill for decision-makers, experts and professionals involved in the energy sector. Through this program, participants will acquire tools for analyzing and understanding the dynamics between energy policies, the global economy and international relations, as well as the diplomatic mechanisms through which states can collaborate for a sustainable and equitable energy system,” the FPE press release states.
Daniel Apostol, General Director of the Energy Employers’ Federation, says that education is the foundation of any sustainable development – and in the energy field, where science meets politics and economics, professional training becomes a strategic duty.
“The Energy Employers’ Federation has always supported the need for real, in-depth expertise to guide public decision-making and private initiative alike. I am convinced that only through higher education and by cultivating competence can we build a truly strong Romania in the face of global energy challenges. That is why both I personally and the Federation I lead are dedicated to supporting these training programs, which transform knowledge into power and professionalism into strategic advantage,” also says Daniel Apostol.
The program is aimed at staff from central and local public administration, representatives of the private sector, specialists in the energy sector, as well as all those interested in continuous training and professional development in fields that combine energy, diplomacy and foreign policy.

Într-un context geopolitic complex, marcat de tranziția energetică globală și de necesitatea securității aprovizionării, diplomația energetică devine o competență esențială pentru factorii de decizie și specialiștii din sectorul energetic.
